This Journal entry is an introductory writing with information on 2 important nutritional elements to use for health maintenance and disease prevention. A writing on the nano silver product Silvercillin follows the main writing on antibiotic resistance.
Here is one description of the antibiotic issue, from the Alliance for Natural Health (ANH), dated June 14, 2016…Are Antibiotics Finished, with Millions of Casualties Coming?
The alarmist wording of the title of this article came directly from the director of the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
I recommend individualized vitamin D dosing for routine daily usage. Silvercillin may also be used routinely, especially by those who are susceptible to infections due to being immune-compromised for any reason, and may be at risk for developing infections. Both Silvercillin and vitamin D should be considered in times of possible future pandemics and plagues in our disturbed world. See the writing on Silvercillin following this one below.
In consideration of our probable inability to expeditiously access the conventional medical system in a large and serious crisis, a realistic possibility which most people in this culture do not want to acknowledge, it is prudent to practice a health maintenance and disease prevention approach. This is a relatively simple thing to do by assisting life style practices.
This requires that we cease doing things which endanger health while assisting practices which engender health. One way to consider health maintenance and practice is to learn about what it is that must be done to get out of the way of natural healing intelligence, a divine force which is operative at all times in our lives, and learn what to do to assist its presence and natural activity.
Global Epidemiologic Perspectives
Here are 3 supportive references which present perspectives about global epidemiologic concerns, from 2012 and 2013, for you to look into as your time and curiosity allow:
- A revealing article from the Alliance for Natural Health (ANH)…”Cancers, Infectious Diseases, and Lifestyle Illnesses: Why “Miracle Drugs” Are the Problem, Not the Solution” appears here, dated March 6, 2012.2
- An important related article is “Seven Climate Change Diseases to Ruin Your Monday” is seen here, dated August 6, 2012.3
- Another important article, “8 Scary Facts about Antibiotic Resistance” can be seen here, dated December 6, 2013.
The issue of resistant pathogenic microorganisms is becoming an increasingly serious concern as advanced generational antibiotics are marketed by pharmaceutical companies seeking profit. If these for profit drug companies truly cared about our health, they would alter their current course. All organisms are designed to evolve mutations in order to survive. The Big Pharma companies have skirted this bio-genetic fact of life long enough.
According to Margaret Chan, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), antibiotic resistance is now a global health crisis. She said the problem is “reaching dangerously high levels” in all parts of the world and may lead to “the end of modern medicine as we know it.”
Here is a pertinent article which appeared in Scientific American which references her views.
The concern posed by super organisms which are evolving their presence into a wider global domain of activity is a major added concern. The most recently reported threat to be aware of involves the emergence of the MCR-1 gene, as described in this news brief article from the BBC.
An Old Surgical Perspective
The ongoing development and usage of more and stronger kinds of antibiotics is a serious problem.
In my surgical past I used to do many bowel surgeries for all sorts of fascinating and difficult conditions. Such surgeries always involved the use of intraoperative and postoperative intravenous antibiotics to help prevent or to curb infections in the peritoneal cavity, and also to keep existing peritoneal infections from becoming systemic. When possible, as in elective bowel surgeries, oral antibiotics and bowel cleansings were employed to sterilize the bowel lumen as much as possible.
At that time in the curve of surgical history, in the 1980’s and early 1990’s, a particularly pesky gut pathogen known as Clostridium difficile was not a very common concern. C. difficile makes a particularly worrisome and virulent toxin which damages the gut lining, which results in toxic systemic effects.
As a few years went by, and we used more and stronger antibiotics, C. difficile began to emerge, and became a more common problem. The treatment for C. difficile is to stop the offending antibiotics and to use yet more antibiotics…a countering set of antimicrobials to knock down the C difficile strain.
These days the risk for the opportunistic C. difficile is increased if one is elderly or in an ICU, and is using acid blocking drugs. The use of perioperative antibiotics in one whose gut flora diversity and strength also increases risk.
And herein lies the problem…more and more types of antibiotics are developed and used in an effort to keep up with and to stay ahead of the microbiome’s evolutionary capability; a large biochemical intelligence which we do not understand very well. Bacterial resistance to new antibiotics is inevitable and inexorable.
An important preventative approach becomes the best way to reduce one’s need to use antibiotics. The best consideration is to simply enhance one’s gut ecology and diversity of healthy organisms and keep the natural balance intact. This will result in the kind of chemistry which the gut needs locally and the body needs systemically. A healthy gut flora will act as strong impedance to any opportunistic organisms’ chance to establish a toehold.
Antibiotics are uniformly toxic to gut health. There are a variety of other gut toxins which we ingest on a daily basis; such as glyphosate in GMO crops, as one example of many such toxins. The insecticide glyphosate has been classified by the World Health Organization in 2015 as a probable carcinogen. Many millions of tons of it are used annually on a global basis. It is damaging to gut health.
Physical and biochemical health and balance begin in the gastrointestinal tract.
It is important to reduce and avoid toxins while building gut integrity and chemistry through a healthy gut microbial diversity. A simple way to assist this development is by using probiotics and both soluble and insoluble fiber in one’s nutritional regimen. Other more targeted compounds are appropriate depending upon one’s conditions.

Antibiotic Alternatives
I would like to pose some effective recommendations for you in terms of a proactive preparation which you may have sensed from reading these articles.
We now have one very extraordinary, and very good, FDA approved alternative; Silvercillin. This nano technology silver solution has been approved for hospital, industrial, and domestic use. It has been used in burn units, but not extensively enough in general hospital usage at this point. It appears that no bacterial resistance has been reported after years of its use.
Silvercillin and vitamin D may be 2 of the most important preventative and therapeutic resources one can acquire as part of one’s proactive preventative and preparedness efforts.
The nano particle silver solution Silvercillin could possibly prevent pathogens, if used routinely, 1-2 ounces per day, during those times of any sort of perceived stress and/or exposure to pathogens. Vitamin D covers all concerns regarding general health, and should be used routinely on a daily basis.
Vitamin D usage probably trumps Silvercillin usage as the most important of the 2 compounds to use on a daily basis. This is because vitamin D influences about 3000 gene sites, and creates the kind of vital immune system which would neutralize all manner of infectious agents in the first place. Vitamin D regulates nearly every system in our biochemistry in a positive manner.
Your vitamin D level should be dosed into an optimal range per your genetic predispositions; a subject to be covered in the future updated vitamin D writing.
Silvercillin can be used in times of perceived pathogen threat, and obviously during the course of an established pathogen infection. I consider Silvercillin to be an important front-line and back-up treatment; a primary product to have in the medicine cabinet of our lives in this troubled world.
Silvercillin use in combination with conventional antibiotics enhances the effectiveness of those antibiotics in treating infections. Here is a sample article from Scientific American which reports on this important effect.
Other important nutritional supplements to consider obtaining are high quality and correctly formulated multivitamins, multi-minerals, omega fatty acids, probiotics, and other individually targeted nutritional supplements per your individual genetic mutation analysis. If you are over age 50, the usage of the adrenal hormones DHEA and Pregnenolone is also helpful if biochemical laboratory investigations support their usage.
An excellent herbal based formula for general immune system support is Immunitone Plus.
A multi-pack and multi formula product which contains Immunitone Plus as well as other supportive and synergistic products is the Immune Support Packets.
Polypharmacy is the now widespread practice of using many different pharmaceuticals at once by the same patient. There are always negative drug-drug interactions and the equally serious problem of drug-nutrient depletions.
Drug-nutrient depletions are the depletion of important chemicals, such as minerals, B Vitamins, and Coenzyme Q 10 (CoQ10), as common examples. Such depletions are caused by the metabolism of the drug in the body, which requires the nutrient, or by drug interference with nutrient production in the body. There are now books written on this issue of drug-nutrient depletion.
Most of today’s conventionally trained health care practitioners are not practiced at weaning patients off of polypharmacy regimens. My approach with clients is to educate them about how this can be safely done by reducing the polypharmacy via a safe weaning, while simultaneously improving the natural biochemistry via correctly formulated nutrition and lifestyle changes.
The purpose of the physician is to restore independence and self healing ability to the patient and to assist their growing knowledge, trust, and practice in developing their own healing intelligence and ability. Of course it would help if physicians would learn about this these principles in their own lives first.
I shall re-post the information on Silvercillin and vitamin D in coming days.
Thank you for reading.

The Silvercillin writing below is reposted here from an earlier Journal writing.
Silvercillin
This Journal follows up on the previous Journal about antibiotic resistance and emerging infectious diseases, and details a patented nano technology silver solution known as Silvercillin.
Despite the underwhelming attention given to medicinal silver in our health media, I believe that properly arranged silver molecules to be one of the safest, most effective , and the easiest to procure broad spectrum antimicrobial in existence.
Nano particle silver solutions are effective against a broad array of bacterial, viral, and fungal microbial conditions, including biofilm conditions. (See the article posted in the Related Reading list at the end of the writing below for more information on biofilms and how they can be managed.)
Super bug resistance, covered in the last Journal, is effectively mitigated with Silvercillin. This kind of silver solution can also be safely used alongside conventional antibiotics and will enhance their efficacy. As this safe agent is researched in the future, I am confident that much good will be learned.
For thousands of years silver has been used as a healing agent by civilizations throughout the world. Its medical, preservative, and restorative powers can be traced far back to the ancient Greek and Roman Empires. Long before the development of modern pharmaceuticals, silver was employed as a germicide.
The old phrase, “born with a silver spoon in their mouth,” comes from health, rather than wealth status, as children fed with silver utensils were believed to be healthier.
Here are some more interesting facts about silver’s health usages over the ages:
- The Greeks used silver vessels to keep water and other liquids fresh. The writings of Herodotus, the Greek philosopher and historian, date the use of silver to before the birth of Jesus.
- In the Roman Empire wine was often stored in silver urns to prevent spoilage.
- The use of medicinal silver is mentioned in ancient Egyptian writings.
- In the Middle Ages, silverware is thought to have protected the wealthy from the plague.
- Before the advent of modern germicides and antibiotics, it was known that disease-causing pathogens could not survive in the presence of silver. Consequently, silver was used in dishware, drinking vessels and eating utensils.
- The wealthy of Western cultures stored and ate their food from silver vessels to preserve freshness.
- The Chinese emperors and their courts ate with silver chopsticks.
- The Druids used silver to enhance the freshness of food and water.
- Settlers in the Australian outback suspended silverware in their water tanks to retard spoilage.
- Pioneers trekking across the American West found that if they placed silver coins in their casks of drinking water it kept the water safe and fresher.
- All along the frontier, silver dollars were put in milk to keep it fresh. Some of us remember our grandparents doing the same.
- Silver leaf was used to combat infection in wounds sustained by troops during World War I.
- Prior to the introduction of antibiotics, the colloidal form of silver was used widely in hospitals and has been known to be a bactericide for at least 1200 years.
- In the early 1800’s, doctors used silver sutures in surgical wounds with successful results.
- In Ayurvedic medicine, silver is used in small amounts as a tonic, elixir or rejuvenative agent for patients debilitated by age or disease.
- NASA has used silver-based water purification technology to provide crews with pure water for drinking, food preparation, and other operations.
- An article about silver’s effectiveness against breast and colon cancer, as compared to the chemotherapy drug cis platinum, can be seen at this site.
Silvercillin is an antimicrobial containing pure ionic nano particulate silver.
Silvercillin is the Designs for Health (DFH) patented brand of a 4th generation silver derivation. The earlier generational forms are colloidal silver, mild silver protein complexes, and earlier ionic silver forms. With colloidal and ionic silver, the silver can fall out of solution and can sequester in the body. This can lead to the condition known as argyrism.
Argyrism is also known as the “blue man” syndrome, referring to the blue-black discoloration of the tissues which accompanies this otherwise harmless condition. Argyria pigmentation is permanent, but does not cause organ or tissue damage.
The reason the silver is complexed to protein in the protein complexed generational version is so that it will not fall out of solution. Nonetheless, a much higher parts per million (ppm) concentration is required for this silver generational variety to function. This form of silver preparation is rarely used now, and is considered only from its historical perspective in the evolution of the therapeutic usages of silver.
The Silvercillin compound is a nano particulate integration of the silver atomic structure into the water molecule clustering, creating a new water molecular structure. The integration of silver into the water molecule by this means is permanent. This newly structured water is a new water molecule; now permanently reorganized with silver incorporated into the atomic structure. This type of silver will not fall out of the new water structure.
The chemistry of nano silver in water is as follows: the nano particulate incorporation of the silver into the water molecule empowers an ongoing catalytic redox reaction. Put more simply…the structured Ag4O4 (multivalent silver oxide) molecular water clustering continually recharges itself as long as it is in the body. There is no other chemical entity that I know of that can do this in a human body; not harming normal tissues while destroying pathogenic microbes without depletion of its effect.
One mode of action of the nano silver structured water is that in its recharging process a resonant frequency is given off by the nano particle which informs the water environment it is in, and this affects the pathogens. This is the reason that such small parts per million of nano particle silver has been found to be far more effective in less time than the higher concentrations of other silver forms.
This structuring will not cause argyrism, and is much more potent and effective at killing microorganisms than colloidal, protein bound, or ordinary ionic silver. This is another important distinction between Silvercillin and the colloidal and ionic forms. The silver simply performs its anti-pathogen work and leaves the body via the urinary tract in an unchanged form. It produces no harmful metabolites in the body.
It is very important to note that this same broad spectrum antimicrobial does not kill the gastrointestinal probiotic friendly bacterial ecology which we require for health. This science is well documented in 4 different studies showing that probiotics cultured in nano silver continue to grow. This is due to the special lipid coating which is native to our friendly gut microbes.
Basically, the silver water cannot penetrate the lipid coating of the typical probiotics of humans. None of my clients on Silvercillin has yet to complain of any gastrointestinal symptoms from the usage of this agent. Diarrhea is the most common complaint of those who use pharmaceutical antibiotics. As the antibiotic kills off the friendly strains of bacteria, pathogenic opportunistic microbes supervene and wound the intestinal lining, creating a dysbiosis and a dysenteric reaction, which is sometimes fatal.
I have consumed an ounce of Silvercillin each night for the last several years with no discernible negative effect. I have not been ill from any kind of infection in this time, and I have not had any gastrointestinal problems in this time.
Silvercillin’s silver particles resonate at the perfect frequency needed to destroy pathogens, which is 890-910 terahertz, the same frequency at which germicidal ultraviolet light resonates. The water is now energetically informed in an entirely different manner than regular water.
At present there is no toxicity associated with the use of Silvercillin, and the FDA has approved of its patented usage in residential/domestic, hospital, and industrial settings.
A fanciful toxicity level of nano silver solution has been defined by the EPA. The EPA would require a spill of 12.5 million gallons of Silvercillin in order to be classified as a toxic event. This would require spilling the entire contents of 12.5 oil tankers at one time in one place without any other water to dilute it. There is no consumer or combination of consumers that store this much silver anywhere in the world.
An average water treatment plant treats about 30 to 70 million gallons of water a day and it would take a spill of about 7 tankers full of Silvercillin directly into the treatment water to bring the concentration to 1 part per million. This is still a very safe level for fish, and is an impossible event to happen anywhere in the world.
Designs for Health offers the highest quality nano particle silver solution available. You can purchase it from these links. This is a rare instance when I want to say, “Accept No Substitutes!”
- Silvercillin Solution, 15 ppm in a 16 ounce container for oral or other types of consumption
- Silvercillin Spray, 15 ppm in a 4 ounce spray bottle for cutaneous and oral use
A preventative maintenance dosing of the Silvercillin solution is 1 teaspoon 2 X‘s/day. The dosing can be increased to several ounces several times daily for serious local or systemic conditions.
It can also be nebulized and inhaled for airway and lung conditions. It can be used in Neti Pots, nasal sprays, ear canals, vaginal douches, etc. It is effective against oral and genital herpetic conditions in the gel form. It is also effective against the human papilloma virus which is an initiator of cancer of the cervix. I also recommend its use to patients with Hepatitis C. It can be sprayed or dropped in full strength directly into the eyes for irrigation of foreign bodies, and also to help fight and eliminate eye infections of any sort.
This practical list goes on. It is highly effective against bronchial and pulmonary conditions when inhaled via a nebulizer, full strength, several times (at least twice daily for 15-20 minutes) a day, plus gargling and swallowing twice daily.
I use the spray orally post tooth brushing. Then I put the toothbrush in a small container of the solution to sit until next usage. This effectively sterilizes the brush and bristles. I also have emptied out some other nasal spray container and refilled it with Silvercillin solution. This serves as an easy application for sinus conditions.
For chronic sinus infections, one should use it via a Neti pot delivery, using about 1/4 teaspoon per 1/2 cup of Neti pot water. The amount of Silvercillin used in the Neti pot wash can be increased up to a teaspoon, or more. There is no toxicity concern with Silvercillin.
Silvercillin is also safe and effective agent for use with your pets on a daily basis. A small amount in your pet’s drinking water is a safe health practice.
I am recommending that you consider Silvercillin for your health maintenance (and preparedness) concerns. When it becomes difficult to access the services of the medical industry, Silvercillin will confer to you an advantage in preventing and treating infectious diseases and in staying healthy.
In this new age of antibiotic resistance Silvercillin solution and gel are good choices for your medicine cabinet.
