July 4th and Rumi
It is July 4th, and if my arithmetic is correct, the Founding Fathers signed off on the Republic some 234 years ago.
As he left the signing, Benjamin Franklin was asked by a curious woman,”Sir, what have you given us?”
Franklin’s reply,”A Republic, Ma’am, if you can keep it.”
If you can keep it.
An important astrological summary of the summer of 2010 has been posted at www.LouisAcker.com, entitled:
Crisis Point-The Great Cardinal T Square of 2010. This is a rather important synopsis of what we face in August and beyond, and is well worth your reading time. Louis is a reputable and well known astrologer.
No Nonsense is knitting some seed pattern mittens from hand spun llama wool. She asked me to read her Louis’ latest article. She likes astrology, and she knows how to read an Ephemeris. She was pretty quiet as I read, and I could tell that she was soaking it in. No Nonsense is no nonsense.
The URL for this informative article is http://louisacker.com/?p=14#more-14. Recommended. It’s not overly long and voluminous. If you are not prepared, in some way, for what awaits us right around the corner, you will do denial, and you will be hoodwinked, and you will suffer more than you should.
His previous article, Current Trends as Revealed through the US Horoscope, posted on June 8, 2010, is also very important. Please read these astrological interpretations so that you have a different perspective and a novel depth of understanding about our country’s problems. The link to this important natal chart reading of the United States of America is: http://louisacker.com/?p=12.
Louis lives here in Crestone and is widely consulted by individuals and corporations for his astrological prognostications. He is a friend of mine, and so I have been able to know him intimately, and I spend some energy trying to slow down his mind. He’s got a good one, and a good heart also. Literally, I tell him to slow down because he is burning up too many neurotransmitters, and I want him to keep channeling his energies. He just turned 70, and looked pretty dapper on his birthday.
He has one of these minds that goes beyond the ordinary and the sensible look at how things appear to be, and on into the extraordinary and suprasensible possibilities of why things are the way they are. He has as good a grasp on Creation cosmology as anyone that I know, and I have been around some real Masters in my travels.
Louis also reminds me of the eccentric scientist in the movie “Back to the Future”, played by Christopher Lloyd. Louis is brilliant. He understands how things manifest. He tinkers and he makes things that are different. Sometimes when he explains things to me, I can keep up, and I feel for a fleeting instant that “I’ve got it.”
He also constucts wonderful metal meditation gongs in his fantastic metal shop. His metal working shop is a compressed space of intriguing machine tools, from metal lathes to cutters and grinders and drill presses. I busted my wheat grass juicer the other day, and he is going to braise it into something better that can take my cranking force. I like my wheat grass juice. The grass has gone to tassel and seed on account of the bust. I plucked all the tassels today.
Louis and I share common concerns about the fate of Gaia. We often speak about these matters. He fully understands the workings of covert gub’mint, the Federal Reserve, and the hidden manner in which a few corrupted individuals and corporate fascism are continuing to manipulate Gaia and her populations.
You will begin to understand this very soon as you look deeper into the Gulf of Mexico calamity. The Xe (formerly named Blackstone) mercenaries are now deploying along the Gulf coastlines to control who goes in and out. This is a bad sign.
There is a lot going on that the secret gub’mints of the Anglo American axis do not want you and me to know about. I am going to attempt to cover some of these Gulf of Mexico possibilities (some worst case scenarios) in another Journal entry. The Gulf of Mexico “oil spill” is going to be worse than the murder and destruction of 9/11.
Another astrological perspective of the markets can be found at Arch Crawford’s site: www.crawfordperspectives.com. You can find his January 11, 2010 letter about the 2010 market crash. And also this link below, for corroborative perspectives on the above. Please make sure you read his ending comments, if you don’t look at anything else:
You must be completely out of the stock and bond markets starting tomorrow. That’s for starters. Aggressively research, study, and understand what you must do now for you and your family. Your ”money,” which is fiat and is without basis of worth, has a narrow closing window of useable value. This is my plea. You must put your money to work—-now—-hard, durable, practical goods that will allow you to get through the initial shock, and into the next 5-10 years.
I also want to write a bit more about recycling and toxicities in cosmeceuticlas. These small potato concerns are important, but they are dwarfed by the issues of the Anglo American cabal. I didn’t get to them in the last entry about GOOP’s Power Trip, which was plenty long enough.
Louis’ astrological entry, referenced above, is important to read even if you don’t understand astrology. You will be able to follow his drift.
On a related poetic note, my friend Jenn sent me a lovely handwritten letter yesterday with a Rumi poem in it.
Mowlana Jalaluddin Rumi, 1207-1273, a Persian mystic, poet, and philosopher, was cited by Life magazine back at the turn of the new millenium as one of the 100 most important individuals of the millenium. I still have that magazine copy. He came in ranked above Helen Keller.
This Rumi poem has a meaningful series of messages:
A Necesssary Autumn Inside Each
“You and I have spoken all these words, but as for the way we have to go, words
are no preparation. There is no getting ready, other than Grace. My faults
have stayed hidden. One might call that a preparation.
I have one small drop
Of knowing in my Soul. Let it dissolve in your ocean.
There are so many threats to it.
Inside each of us, there’s a continual autumn. Our leaves
fall and are blown out
over the water. A crow sits in the blackened limbs and talks about what’s gone. Then
your generosity returns: spring, moisture, intelligence, the scent of hyacinth and rose
and cypress. Joseph is back! And if you don’t feel in
yourself the freshness of
Joseph, be Jacob! Weep and then smile. Don’t pretend
to know something you haven’t experienced.
There’s a necessary dying, and then Jesus is
breathing again.
Very little grows on jagged
rock. Be ground. Be crumbled, so wildflowers will
come up where you are. You’ve been stony for too many years. Try something different.
Surrender.”
Jenn Weede is a writer and stylist. She is a lady of fashion. She lives in Crestone and in Boulder. Her website is www.jennweede.com. She grew up in NYC, and started her career there. Over here in Crestone she also runs a kiln and she makes really nice Raku fired pottery which we enjoy greatly.
No Nonsense has put down her knitting, is eating her pancakes, and is reading James Howard Kunstler’s latest book, World Made by Hand. She says its good.
He also wrote The Long Emergency.
It’s time to go to the annual July 4th festivities downtown. The whole town turns out for the parade and celebrations.
Onward.
Signing off from Crestone and Beyond.
Love.
