Gub’mint, Part II
This is another posting on our Gub’mint, and your part in what still resembles a free country.
When the Founding Father’s finished the composition of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, Benjamin Franklin was approached by a woman, who inquired, “Sir, what have you given us?”
Franklin’s reply, “A Republic, madam, if you can keep it.”
I am neither Republican or Democrat. I did vote for the Obama people, and I regret it. I’m equally pleased, on the other hand, that I did not vote for the McCain people, as they represented an extension of Bush II, which was a nightmare decimation of our Republic.
I am very disapppointed in the freefall which has occured under Obama.
Yesterday our Commander in Chief, who is not a military tactician, dismissed the commanding general of US forces in Afghanistan. More on that Afghanistan subject later. Why are we really in Afghanistan?
Stay tuned for the explanation, which you will find disturbing, but I would think you would want to know. In the meantime, try to remember and ponder the events of the attempted takeover of Afghanistan by the Soviets back in the 1980’s. Do you remember that?
Here is a link to a nice professionally done video clip on YouTube entitled America Rising. It is only 3 minutes long.

Also recommended is a read of the newly released book by Thomas E. Woods entitled Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century. To see a review of this important work please view the URL http://www.theusreport.com/the-us-report/2010/6/29/book-sales-climb-as-nullification-taps-national-psyche.html.
Nullification is the Constitutional precedent which allows states and individuals the right to resist unjust and unconstitutional Federal laws and mandates. The book helps you understand our Constitution. This is the book that the politicians, lobbyers, and special interest groups in Washington, D.C. do not want the American people to know about.
Signing off from Crestone and Beyond.
